PAGELAND, S.C. – One person died in a single-vehicle crash in Chesterfield County on Friday night, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
It happened around 6:27 p.m. Friday on Airport Road near Eddie Horton Road, approximately four miles south of Pageland, South Carolina.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol said a driver, operating a 1988 Mercury sedan, traveled off the right side of the road, causing the vehicle to overturn multiple times.
The driver was the sole occupant and died as a result of the crash.
No further details were released.
The crash is still under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
