CLOVER, S.C. – One person died and another was sent to the hospital following a three-vehicle collision near Clover on Friday afternoon.
It happened around 1:18 p.m. on SC Highway 274, approximately five miles south of Clover, South Carolina.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol said a Ford pickup truck was traveling north on SC Highway 274. The truck was struck head-on by a southbound Chevrolet SUV that allegedly crossed the centerline.
The SUV driver was the sole occupant and died as a result of the crash.
The driver operating the Ford truck was injured and transported to a local hospital.
The debris from the crash hit a Chevrolet pickup truck. Two occupants were in this vehicle, and neither were injured.
The crash remains under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
