After further investigation, Police have identified both victims in the on going homicide cases in North Charlotte.
Police have identified 18-year-old Bellian Garcia as the victim in the Echo Glen Road investigation and Pierre McClaine, 39, as the victim in the Tom Hunter road incident.
It remains unclear whether these cases are related.
Both shootings are still under investigation.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Police are investigating two overnight homicides in north Charlotte that occurred approximately 75 minutes apart and within two miles of each other, according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.
The first happened around 1:45 a.m. Sunday on Tom Hunter Road where officers found a man with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene by Medic.
Around 3 a.m., police responded to a welfare check on Echo Glen Road. There, a man was suffering from a gunshot wound and was later pronounced dead by Medic.
Tom Hunter Road and Echo Glen Road intersect, but it’s unclear if the homicides are connected at this time.
Both shootings are under investigation. Anyone with information on either incident is asked to call 704-432-TIPS or leave an anonymous tip to Crime Stoppers at 704-334-1600.
