Women Caught On Camera Stealing Bats From D-Bat Locations In The Charlotte Area And Beyond

HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. — Police are investigating a string of shoplifting incidents that have targeted D-Bat locations throughout the region. Surveillance video clearly shows several women participating in the shoplifting scheme.

As you can see in the video below, a woman is seen grabbing bats and handing them to another women who then puts the bats inside her skirt.

D-Bat in Concord posted a similar video saying they too were hit by women stealing bats. The videos they released on social media appear to show the same women enter the store in Concord and steal thousands of dollars in baseball bats. An employee says the D-Bat location in Indian Trial was also hit by the same group of women.

The women appear to be driving a tan colored van and their faces can clearly be seen in the videos.

According to D-Bat employees, numerous D-Bat locations throughout the region have been hit in the last several weeks. Anyone with information that could help identify the women involved is asked to call 911 immediately.
