Two Suspects Charged In Southwest Charlotte Homicide
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Two suspects are being charged with first-degree murder following an investigation into the death of a 32-year-old man in southwest Charlotte.
Police said they identified Tadarian Neal and Asia Tapp as the suspects in connection to the homicide.
Neal and Tapp were arrested on Friday, June 14th. Both are being charged with first-degree murder and robbery with a dangerous weapon.
The charges stem from an investigation into the death of 32-year-old Jonathan Dockery, who was pronounced dead at an apartment on Farmhurst Drive on Thursday afternoon.
A maintenance worker said they were doing a wellness check when they discovered a body. The body they found was not the body they were checking on and that he didn’t live in that apartment.
CMPD has not said how Dockery died, only saying that he suffered from unknown trauma.
