CHARLOTTE, N.C. – A $1.9 million contract awarded by the N.C. Department of Transportation will bring improvements to sections of ten secondary roads in Mecklenburg County.
That contract including milling, surfacing, shoulder reconstruction, full depth pavement reclamation, asphalt surface treatment and pavement markings to approximately 5.2 miles of roads within the county, including:
- Brown Mill Road
- Capps Road
- Amanda Drive
- Oakberry Court
- Thomas Road
- Bounty Court
- Hagers Ferry Road
- Red Buckboard Lane
- Trace Chain Lane
- Halter Drive
The contract calls for completion by fall 2025.
