Avoiding Kids’ Summer Boredom

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Summer is a stressful time for parents. Finding childcare and scrambling to keep children occupied…only to hear the dreaded words: “I’m bored.”

Summer often leads to increased screen time for kids as a result, and a new NIH study reveals screen addiction starts as early as infancy and is linked to developmental delays.
