“I Think The Worst Part Is Not Knowing’: Family Searching For Missing Charlotte Teen

CHARLOTTE, N.C. —  It’s been nearly 4 months since Leslie Goods saw his 19 year old son Nassim Scruggs.

“The worst part is not knowing,” Goods said.

He was last seen on surveillance video camera  leaving his mother’s apartment complex on February  29.

“He’s never done anything like this before and it totally took me by surprise,” Goods said.

CMPD is investigating his disappearance as a missing person case and missing person flyers can be seen around Charlotte as Nassim’s father is still searching for answers.

“Usually if there is a problem or whatever when we talk he would mention it no matter what it is,” Good said.

Goods said he didn’t see any signs that his son was in distress or had any reason to run away.

He describes him as a good kid and loving big brother to his four year old sister.

“I love him and he has a four year old sister that’s waiting on him,” Goods said.

Now he hopes somehow his son will see this message and know his father just wants him to come home.

“I love him to death. I’m just praying that just like he left he will just come back. That’s all I can do.
