Body Cam Video Released After Man Injured Following Shooting Involving Police In West Charlotte
The Latest:
The body cam video of a shooting involving a CMPD officer on Beatties Ford Road has been released. Timothy Moore was shot in the arm by a CMPD officer and survived the shooting.
Moore has been charged with numerous felonies related to the incident.
The officer involved in the shooting has not been charged in the case.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The armed suspect involved in a shooting involving a police officer has been identified and is in custody.
Timothy Deangelo Moore, 33, has been charged with possession of a firearm by felon, resist, delay and obstruct, and carrying a concealed weapon.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is conducting an investigation after a victim was injured in a shooting involving police on Thursday.
Officers responded to a shooting on Beatties Ford road around 10:45 a.m. According to a news release, officers say they observed what they perceived to be a drug transaction between two individuals in a parking lot.
Officers state they approached the one suspect after observing a firearm in his possession.
Shortly after the suspect fled on foot while reportedly throwing the firearm away from his body. Reports indicate that officers perceived an imminent and deadly threat and in result fired their weapon, striking the suspect. Officers on scene immediately began rendering life saving measures before MEDIC arrived.
Police say one person has been transported to a nearby hospital.
