Officials have identified the two victims in Tuesday’s double homicide case as Tabatha Funderburk and Austin Bradley Tallent. The third victim has remained on life support with no further updates.

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office have arrested and charged 32-year-old Conway Cook with two counts of first degree murder and one count of attempted first degree murder.

LINCOLNTON, N.C. – Detectives with the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a double homicide that occurred on Springs East Road, near Maiden Highway, according to a news release.

The release states that two people were found dead inside a residence and a third with a serious injury, who is currently on life support.

The detectives also say they have taken a person of interest in custody.
