Metrolina Association For The Blind Celebrating 90 Years Of Service To The Vision Impaired Community

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Charlotte based, “Metrolina Association For the blind,” is getting ready to celebrate 90 years.
The non profit organization has a goal of eliminating daily living challenges imposed on people with visual impairment or blindness. There is a 90th anniversary launch party happening this Saturday (6/29) at the Olde Mecklenburg Brewery on Yancey Street from 4 to 9pm.
The team will be showcasing a year of events like community night at the Charlotte Knights Stadium, yoga in the dark, and a Mardi Gras gala.
