One Dead, Three Injured In South Carolina Crash

GRAY COURT, S.C. – Authorities are investigating a vehicle collision in South Carolina that left one person dead and sent three others to the hospital on Saturday evening.

Around 5:45 p.m., deputies responded to the collision that occurred on I-385 South near mile marker 13 in Pickens County.

The highway patrol said a 2004 Chevrolet Blazer and a 2015 Chrysler 300 were both traveling on I-385 South. The Chrysler struck the Chevrolet, causing it to veer off the right side of the road and hit a guardrail.

The Chevrolet driver was the sole occupant and died at the scene.

There were three occupants in the Chevrolet vehicle, and all three were transported to a nearby hospital.

No further details were released. This crash remains under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
