West Charlotte House Fire Deemed Accidental

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The fire that damaged a west Charlotte home on Saturday afternoon was deemed accidental, according to Charlotte Fire.

Just before 6 p.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to a home on Minnesota Road and saw fire showing on arrival.

Thirty firefighters controlled the blaze in 20 minutes.

Investigators determined it was an accidental kitchen fire. It caused approximately $55,000 in damages.

No injuries were reported to firefighters or civilians.
