Hurricane Beryl made landfall on Monday morning as a high-end Category 4 hurricane in Carriacou Island, Grenada. Monday evening, Beryl become the earliest calendar year Atlantic Category 5 hurricane on record.
Beryl is forecast to track westward across the Caribbean Sea this week before taking aim at the Yucatan Peninsula. Thankfully, this monster hurricane is expected to weaken as it travels westward, but those from the western Gulf Coast states down to Mexico need to keep an eye on this storm.
