CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Sources say an officer has been shot in southwest Charlotte.
The shooting happened around 12:30pm on Steele Creek Road between Dorcas Lane and Markswood Road.
Several roads have been shut down in the area as the officer is being rushed to a local hospital. Expect delays.
No other details have been released at this time. WCCB has a crew at the scene.
