One Hospitalized After Northeast Charlotte Shooting

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – One person is in the hospital following a shooting at a gas station in northeast Charlotte early Sunday morning, according to Medic.

It happened after 4:30 a.m. at the Circle K on North Tryon Street near Bennett Street. Medic said they treated one person at the scene and transported the victim to Novant Presbyterian with life-threatening injuries.

It is unclear what led up to the shooting or if police have any suspects in custody. We will keep you updated as we learn more.
