North Carolina Legalizes To-Go Cocktails

RALEIGH, N.C. — A new bill signed into law by Gov. Roy Cooper will allow people to purchase to-go cocktails.

The bill, called ABC Omnibus, states that pre-mixed liquor drinks can be purchased to-go as long as it’s sealed and sold with food.

The drinks can not be more than 24 ounces, according to the bill. A second part of the bill allows people to carry around purchased drinks in airport terminals.
