Award Winning Hip Hop Violinist Damien Escobar Unveils Comeback Album, “Gemini”

 

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Hailing from Jamaica Queens — violinist, Damien Escobar was admitted to the prestigious Juliard school of music in New York City at age 10 . He graduated at 13 and took to the subways with his music infusing it with hip hop.
The winning combination took he and his brother’s group Nuttin’ But Stringz to a national stage
Things changed fast when the group disbanded in 2012 leaving him homeless for 3 months.
fast forward to today and Escobar is pleased to share his love of music with the world again through his latest album, “Gemini.”
