Elijah McCarthy has been found unharmed and reunited with his family.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Missing Person Unit with CMPD is requesting the public’s assistance in finding 82-year-old Elijah McCarthy.

McCarthy was reportedly last seen on July 24, 2024 at Nordstrom Rack on South Boulevard in Charlotte at 2:00 pm. He was wearing a gray t-shirt and tan pants and seen driving his 2021 White Nissan Sentra with a Connecticut license plate 9AKVFO.
McCarthy has been diagnosed with early-onset dementia.
Anyone with information on McCarthy’s whereabouts should call 911 immediately.
