Authorities Investigating Vehicle Theft, Hit And Run
CHARLOTTE, N.C. β Police are searching for a suspect accused of stealing a vehicle in Fort Mill that was later involved in a hit and run in west Charlotte, according to the York County Sheriffβs Office.
The suspect stole a black Genesis G80 from the Evolve at Tega Cay apartments in Fort Mill on July 4th between 11 p.m. and 10:55 a.m.
On July 6, the same vehicle was involved in a hit and run at the Xpress Mart gas station on Queen City Drive. Police said the suspect came from the Rodeway Inn Motel on Queen City Drive prior to the hit and run.

Police have not recovered the vehicle since the incident.
