13 Transported, One In Critical Condition After Heat-Related Calls From Trump Rally At Bojangles Coliseum

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Medic has been treating numerous Donald Trump campaign attendees at his rally in Charlotte today at Bojangles Coliseum, receiving 44 calls regarding various medical issues.

A total of 13 people were transported. One is in critical condition and all others were minor.

This is the latest update as of 8:30 pm:

  • 44 calls since 11 a.m., all of which were medical related with a mix of heat, fainting, illness
  • One patient was transported due to a cardiac arrest and is dealing with life-threatening-injuries.
  • One call regarding a fall was canceled
  • A call regarding an unknown issue resulted in a patient being transported with minor injuries.
  • One call regarding minor lacerations was canceled.
