Boar’s Head Meat Recall Explained
There’s an expansion of a major recall linked to a deadly listeria outbreak.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture recalled an additional seven million pounds of meat made by Boar’s Head.
The expanded recall also includes other deli meats like ham, bologna, bacon and sausage products.
The USDA said the meats were packaged with a sell-by date from July 29th through October 17th.
As of Tuesday, 34 illnesses have been reported in 13 states, and that includes two deaths.
