LINCOLNTON, N.C. β A Stanley man is being charged with multiple sex offenses after sexual photos and videos of a minor were found in his possession, according to a news release.
The Sheriff’s Office began an investigation of child pornography and online solicitation of minors and began collecting data and other materials that involve the material.
The release states that the investigation accuses 51-year-old Kristopher Kirtley of sending and receiving photos and videos of prepubescent girls engaged in sexual activity.
Deputies further say Kirtley took and attempted to take photos and videos of a minor that was used for the purpose of arousing and gratifying a sexual desire.
Kirtley is being charged with one felony count each of indecent liberties with a child and second degree sexual exploitation of a minor.
