CMS Gearing Up For Start of School

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — There are currently 809 bus drivers throughout the Charlotte Mecklenburg School District. Drivers will begin hitting the roads with dry run to familiarize themselves with their routes starting August 19th. If you haven’t signed up your student for a route by today’s deadline you won’t be guaranteed a bus stop on the first day of school. District staff say express stops will return this year.
