CHARLOTTE, N.C. – One person is dead and three others were critically injured from a shooting overnight in east Charlotte.
Around 11:30 p.m. Friday, officers were dispatched to Shamrock Drive where they found four victims with gunshot wounds.
Two victims were located in the road and were transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Another two victims were found at a nearby residence. One was pronounced dead at the scene by Medic. The other was transported with life-threatening injuries, according to Medic.
This shooting is under an active investigation.
