Officers with the NC Wildlife Resources Commission identified 64-year-old Duane Strong as the victim in this case.Β According to a news release, he jumped into the water from a moving sailboat to go swimming and then began struggling.
Strong’s body was recovered around 7 p.m. on Sunday, August 11th.
