Charlotte, NC – ATCO Properties & Management (“ATCO”) along with partner Shorenstein Properties, LLC (“Shorenstein”), announced today that EastCoast Entertainment (ECE), the country’s largest full-service entertainment agency offering a vast roster of talented artists across various genres, is relocating and expanding its Charlotte headquarters to 301 Camp Road, Suite 104 at Camp North End.
Since its founding in 1976, ECE has successfully booked top-tier talent for more than 100,000 events from coast to coast, ranging from small gatherings to large-scale celebrations, festivals, and university and corporate events. In addition to curating live entertainment, ECE offers a range of event production services, including lighting, sound, and staging, to create immersive experiences that leave a lasting impression.
The firm’s new 5,735-square-foot office space brings multiple ECE divisions – artist services, marketing, sales, Comedy Zone, and the DJ Collective, Radical Grove – together under one roof for the first time. ECE signed its lease in mid-July and is already occupying the space. Prior to Camp North End, ECE’s Charlotte office was located off East Worthington Avenue and the Dilworth area for nearly four decades.
With this move, the firm has more than doubled its previous footprint to account for the 18 employees and counting that are based out of Charlotte. Nationally, EastCoast Entertainment has 12 offices and employs 50+ team members.
Chris McClure, Managing Director of ECE’s Charlotte office, added “With the growth our company is currently experiencing, ECE perfectly aligns with the creative and community focused atmosphere of Camp North End. We are thrilled for the next chapter of ECE.”
EastCoast Entertainment’s new Charlotte headquarters has a modern feel with ample natural light and unique design elements, including a roll-up garage door. The space includes a combination of enclosed offices and open work areas that encourage collaboration. The suite came move-in ready, which was a plus for ECE in addition to the various onsite amenities – such as The Perch, a private rooftop space for tenants and the conference room – which can be utilized for corporate events, to entertain, etc. Having The Revelry, a premium event venue the ECE team works with often, just steps away, was also a driver.
Tommy Mann, Development Director of Camp North End, added: “In many ways, Camp North End is at the convergence of artistry and business, a blend that provides a perfect home base for EastCoast Entertainment’s corporate headquarters in Charlotte. The city has a vibrant music scene and we are thrilled that ECE, which is nationally known for its extensive roster of talent, has selected Camp to continue its growth.”
ECE’s office announcement builds on ownership’s commercial leasing momentum, which includes the relocation of Passero Associates, Progressive Companies, Mentra, Google Fiber, Kingsmen Software, Bolton & Menk and Petfolk. Camp North End is also home to commercial tenants, including Centene Corporation, Ally Financial’s TM Studio, CloudGenera and more.
