Three Arrested After Suspicious Activity In Chesterfield County
MCBEE, S.C. – Three people were arrested Friday on drug charges after a deputy said he observed suspicious activity from the suspects, according to the Chesterfield County Sheriff’s Office.
A deputy was patrolling on Winburn Lake Road when he noticed a vehicle pulled over on Tabernacle Church Road. The deputy became suspicious after he saw the driver and passenger switch seats, prompting him to initiate a traffic stop.
The deputy found methamphetamine in the vehicle and arrested three individuals at the scene, the sheriff’s office said.
Carey Capps, Robert VanHorn Jr., and Dustin Gainey were all charged with possession with intent to distribute. Gainey was also found to have outstanding warrants in Chesterfield County, deputies said.
