The Rock Hill Police have arrested 20-year-old Jameson Dunham as a suspect involved in the shooting.

ROCK HILL, S.C. – Rock Hill Police are investigating a shooting that resulted in a gunshot wound to the head of an 18-year-old in a McDonalds parking lot, according to a news release.

The release states that police responded to the McDonalds on South Cherry Road at 6:30 p.m. on August 25 in regards to a shooting.

Upon arrival, police say they found an 18-year-old victim with a gunshot wound to the head, who was transported to a hospital for treatment.

According to the preliminary investigation, the victim was speaking to a group of people when one of them shot the victim and fled in a vehicle. Police believe the shooter drove a grey midsize SUV.
