CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Now is your chance to be featured as an extra in a Sydney Sweeney movie that is being filmed in Charlotte, N.C.
The Feature Film “Apopka” (working title) is set to film in Charlotte and surrounding areas late September to mid November. The film will star Sweeney as legendary female boxer Christy Martin.
The Black Bear and Anonymous Content project will be directed by David Michod. The film will tell the story of the female boxer Martin’s rise to fame and personal struggles.
