Folds Of Honor Western Carolina To Host Annual Gala

CHARLOTTE, NC — There’s still time to give to a nonprofit that helps the families of veterans.

Folds of Honor gives scholarships to families of fallen or disabled veterans. It’s awarded nearly 4,000 scholarships in North Carolina.

The organization has two big fundraisers each year. Next weekend is one of them.

Folds of Honor Western Carolina’s annual gala is September 7th at the Sullenberger Aviation Museum in west Charlotte. Captain Sully Sullenberger will be on hand as the keynote speaker. WCCB News @10 Anchor Gary Brode is emceeing the event.
