The Charlotte Knights will host the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp (Triple-A affiliate of the Miami Marlins) in a doubleheader at Truist Field in Uptown Charlotte, NC on Wednesday, September 11. First pitch of game one is set for 5:05 p.m.
On this very special night, the Knights will host First Responders Night presented by Sunbelt Rentals.
The Knights are encouraging all First Responders to come out and enjoy a great night at the ballpark. All First Responders will receive a special discount of $5 off per ticket for the games on September 11. Tickets can be purchased in person at the Charlotte Knights Ticket Office, located at Truist Field. Special pre-game ceremonies will take place before the game and throughout the night to honor First Responders in attendance.
As part of the eveningβs festivities, the Knights will also partner with the Salute to Heroes Foundation and raise money through an in-person jersey auction, which will be located on the concourse inside Truist Field. A portion of the proceeds from the jersey auction will be donated to the Salute to Heroes Charlotte Foundation.
