Gun Found At Chester High School

Update

The Hold Protocol has been lifted from Chester High School and normal operations have resumed.

Additional deputies will be present during dismissal to ensure the safety of students and faculty.

CHESTER, S.C – The Chester County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a firearm found at Chester High School, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

The high school is currently on a Hold Protocol and the Sheriff’s Office said there is no immediate danger to students.

A large law enforcement presence is on campus during the investigation.
