Victim In Fatal Southeast Charlotte Shooting Identified As 19-Year-Old

The victim in the southeast Charlotte shooting that took place on September 15 has been identified as 19-year-old Chauncory Farmer.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – One person died and two others were seriously injured following a shooting in southeast Charlotte overnight, according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.

It happened in the 1600 block of Hollow Drive near Monroe Road around 1:15 a.m. Sunday. Police said the residence was rented for an event.

When officers arrived, they located three victims with gunshot wounds. All three were transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. One of the victims died shortly after arriving.

No arrests have been made at this time.
