77-Year-Old Returned Home Safely

Vizcaya Court, a 77-year-old woman diagnosed with cognitive impairment, is now safe after being reported missing on Friday night.

CMPD confirmed around 4 p.m. that Court returned home unharmed.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Police need help finding a 77-year-old woman last seen near her family’s home in south Charlotte.

Lenora Carty was last seen in the area of Vizcaya Court near Providence Road. She was wearing a red long-sleeve shirt, blue pants, a gray and green hat, and a black purse.

Carty is from Trinidad and may not be familiar with the area, police said. She was diagnosed with cognitive impairment and may be lost.

Carty is 5 feet tall and weighs approximately 150 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information on her location is asked to call 911 immediately.
