CHARLOTTE, N.C. – One person is fighting for their life after being shot in the University City area overnight.
The shooting happened around 1 a.m. near West W.T. Harris Boulevard and J.W. Clay Boulevard.
One victim sustained a gunshot wound and was transported to Atrium CMC with life-threatening injuries, Medic said.
No further details were released. We are working to learn more details about the shooting. It is unclear if there are any suspects in custody.
