Motorcyclist Killed, Two Others Injured In Rock Hill Crash

ROCK HILL, S.C. – A motorcyclist died and two others were transported to the hospital following a collision in Rock Hill on Saturday night, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.

It happened around 6:40 p.m. on Porter Road near Neely’s Creek Road, approximately two miles south of Rock Hill.

Troopers said a motorcyclist, heading south on Porter Road, traveled onto the wrong side of the road and struck a northbound Honda sedan.

The motorcyclist died at the scene.

A driver and a passenger in the Honda vehicle were transported to a nearby hospital for their injuries, the highway patrol said.

No further details have been released. This collision remains under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
