Breon Feaster
CHESTER, S.C. – A man was taken into custody Friday after allegedly killing his mother with a shotgun, according to the Chester County Sheriff’s Office.
Just after midnight Friday morning, deputies were dispatched to a shooting at a home on Columbia Road in Chester County.
When deputies arrived, they located a woman that had been shot, and she was pronounced dead at the scene.
The suspect was identified as Breon Feaster, who deputies say fled after killing his mother with a shotgun at their home.
Deputies tracked Feaster down in under two hours and arrested him after a foot pursuit.
Feaster was transported to the Chester County Detention Center. He was charged with murder and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime.
