Forecast:
Tonight: Clear and chilly. Lows: Mid 40s.

Tuesday: Increasing clouds. Highs: Mid 60s. Clouds will clear late PM.

Mountains: Freezing temperatures arrive in most mountain communities Tuesday night. With a northwest flow, some showers are possible. With the cold air and some moisture, it is possible for those above 4,000’to see some snow!

Wednesday: Sunny and chilly! Highs will struggle to reach 60. Overnight lows in the Piedmont fall into the upper 30s. Frost is possible, mainly north of I-85. The average first frost is October 28th.

Mountains: Day time highs will not even reach 40Β­Β°! More widespread freezing temperatures for the High Country Wednesday night. Patchy frost likely.

Thursday: Sunny. Highs in the low 60s.

Mountains: Low temperatures will hover near freezing in the mountains. Patchy frost likely.

Friday: Sunny. Highs in the mid 60s.
