Freeze warnings and frost advisories remain in effect across the mountains and through the Piedmont this morning with temperatures in the 30s and 40s across the region. For the mountains and foothills, expect frost again Saturday morning before temperatures begin to warm going into the next week. High pressure will dominate the forecast over the next few days. It will keep the weather pattern stable with temperatures warming to near 70 today. Seasonable highs return this weekend as an omega block keeps the dry and clear pattern through the weekend. Highs will reach the 60s in the mountains to the mid 70s across the Piedmont by Sunday. A ridge will build in next week, which means dry weather will continue, but temperatures will also begin to climb. Clear skies will allow temps to fall into the 30s and 40s, but daytime highs will near 80 by midweek.
