Pedestrian Struck, Killed In Northeast Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Police are investigating a fatal crash involving a pedestrian in northeast Charlotte early Wednesday morning.

It happened near the intersection of University City Boulevard and North Tryon Street.

CMPD and Medic responded to the scene and a pedestrian was pronounced dead upon arrival, according to Medic.

University City Boulevard was temporarily closed but appears to have reopened.
