Police Investigating Possible Overdose Death In Belmont

BELMONT, N.C. – Police are investigating a possible overdose death in Belmont.

Friday morning, police responded to the NAPA Auto Parts parking lot. A WCCB crew saw investigators searching a car in that lot.

A body was also seen on the ground. Police said no other details were available at this time and that they are trying to notify next of kin.
