Registered sex offender arrested after being found with missing teen
MONROE, N.C. – A registered sex offender was arrested after being found with a missing 14-year-old girl, according to the Monroe Police Department.
The 14-year-old girl was found earlier today. She was reported missing on October 31st.
Police say they found her with 45-year-old Stephen Miller, who is a registered sex offender.
Miller has been charged with felonious restraint, contributing to delinquency of a minor and traffic violations. He was also charged by the Union County Sheriff’s Office for failing to change his address, police said.
Miller is being processed at the Union County Detention Center. The conditions on his release have not been set.
