Monopoly comes in second place on the list, seeing more than 2,105 searches a month in North Carolina.
Chess comes third on the list, with 1,795 monthly searches on average.
Fourth on the list is Backgammon, which sees an average of 1,509 monthly searches in the state.
Rounding out the top five is Catan, which sees an average of 1,200 monthly searches.
Commenting on the findings, Gabriele Asaro, Head of SEO and Research at Clash.gg, said, “It’s interesting to see the variety of board games to feature on this list. You’ve got simple older games on the list, where rules have largely remained the same, like Chess, Backgammon, and Checkers, which shows that these have all stood the test of time. Additionally, you have family-orientated games like Trouble and Monopoly, as well as longer, more drawn-out games like Catan, which show the market for board games is still varied and extensive.”
