SALISBURY, NC – Three people are in jail charged with armed robberies at four Speedway convenience stores in Salisbury.
The Salisbury Police Department says the crimes happened Saturday night at Speedways on West Jake Alexander Boulevard, East Innes Street, South Main Street and South Jake Alexander Boulevard.
Officers used video and information from witnesses to identify the suspects and the red Ford Explorer they were driving.
Rowan County Sheriff’s deputies spotted the SUV on I-85 and arrested the three suspects following a chase.
The suspects are:
Sidney Williams: Charged with multiple counts of armed robbery and strong-armed robbery.
DIovany Philistin: Charged with conspiracy to commit robbery and accessory after the fact.
Tina Miller: Charged with drug-related offenses.
