Boone Police searching for driver who they say sideswiped car

BOONE, N.C. – Boone Police are investigating after they say a driver sideswiped a parked vehicle in a grocery store parking lot. It happened Saturday, November 16th at 10:30am at the Food Lion at 350 Watauga Villa Drive.

The driver of a white Chevrolet truck left the area before officers could respond, police say. Surveillance cameras in the area captured images of the driver. Police say if you recognize the driver or the truck, please contact them.
