Another big cooldown Friday behind a cold front

High Wind Warning is in effect from 7 PM this evening to 4 PM Thursday across the mountains. Scattered power outages are expected with wind gusts up to 60 mph possible.

Forecast:
Tonight: Clear, but not as cold. Windy with gusts up to 60 mph in the mountains and up to 35 mph in the piedmont. Tonight will be our first night above freezing in a week.

Thursday: Sunny. Highs in the low to mid 50s. Windy with wind gusts up to 30 mph.

Friday: Sunny and cooler again. Waking up to lows near 20 with highs in the low 40s.

Saturday: Sunny with highs in the upper 40s.

Sunday: Sunny and a bit warmer. Highs in the mid to upper 50s.
