Charlotte Country Day School administrator arrested for felony peeping

CHARLOTTE, NC — The Assistant Head of School for Academics at Charlotte Country Day School is now facing 10 felony peeping charges.

58-year-old Scott Waybright was arrested Friday. His peeping charges include “Possession of a photographic image obtained in violation of the peeping statute” and “Secretly Using a photographic image device to view another’s body or undergarments.”

WCCB Charlotte obtained a letter to parents from President of Charlotte Country Day School, David Mancos.

The letter states Waybright started working with the school in 1995. He was fired on Monday.

This is the second time in as many months that Charlotte Country Day School has been in the news.
Last month, Matt Elliott, a track coach with the school,  was charged with taking indecent liberties with a student. A grand jury indicted Elliott earlier this week.

Waybright is out of jail on a $50,000 bond.
