Temperatures return to average ahead of Arctic blast
Much colder temperatures move in this weekend behind another front
Forecast:
Tonight: Mostly cloudy. Patchy dense fog through the evening as showers move across the area. Rain will be scattered across the piedmont from 6 pm to midnight.
Thursday: Cooler with partly sunny skies. Highs in the mid 50s. It will be breezy with winds out of the northeast at 20 mph.
Friday: Partly sunny with a slim isolated rain chance. Highs in the mid 50s. Lows near freezing. Mountain snow showers are likely.
Saturday: Waking up to freezing temperatures with cooler temperatures building in for the weekend. Highs only top out in the mid 40s with sunny skies.
