Former president Jimmy Carter passes away at 100 years old

CHARLOTTE, NC — The world is mourning the loss of Former president Jimmy Carter.
He died peacefully at his home in plains, Georgia at the age of 100, and now holds the record as America’s longest-lived president. Carter had been living in hospice care for more than a year prior to his passing. Carter and his wife Rosalynn were active in charities in Charlotte, including Habitat for Humanity.
